An invitation,not an advert.

Gatsheni Experiences works at the meeting point of culture, community and land in Zimbabwe. We started in Chikukwa Village, Chimanimani, because the community there had already done the hard part: keeping its music, craft and farming knowledge alive, and organising itself around them.

Our role is narrow on purpose. We handle the introduction, the planning and the logistics so visitors arrive prepared and respectful — and so the people hosting them are paid properly, decide what is shared, and remain the authors of their own story. Every experience listed on this site is one that Gatsheni currently runs with its community partners.

We are growing carefully. New locations, artists and disciplines are added only when the community involved wants them added, and on their terms.
